Hunsur is a Taluk in Mysore District of Karnataka state . It’s population is nearly 2.5 lakh in which Muslims constitute about 35% of the population. Most of the population is below the poverty line and lacks a sense of education.

It was in 2004 that some like minded person who thought of forming a trust by name ” Noble Education Trust” and started a school under the trust to cater the need of education to the community, who can’t afford to educate their children in good private schools due to poverty.

Alhamdulillah, the trust  succeeded in starting a school by name SUFFAH PUBLIC SCHOOL in 2004 in a rented building. Alhamdulillah by the grace of almighty Allah in 2016 we shifted to a new building at Shabbir Nagar a Muslim populated extension of Hunsur Town.And now by the grace of Allah the school is providing education to 270 students up to grade 7th by charging minimum fees.

Our motto is to provide a quality education and to prepare students for their future in this life and even in hereafter by providing them both academic and Islamic education. We cater to each child’s social, emotional and developmental needs providing an environment which allows each child to grow with self confidence fully equipped to become a balanced successful human being in both the worlds.

More than just a child enrichment centre, the Suffah experiences a Total Learning Experience for young children. The Suffah Teaching Philosophy encompasses the integration of Islamic values as our guiding principles in life, and the English language is our medium of instruction and primary language of communication.
